Ibiza Lounge

Open-plan Ibiza house with South-East Asian artefacts

He did it again: French designer Bruno Raymond changed an unappealing house in Ibiza into an architectural jewel. For nine years, the house was offered for sale. All efforts proved unavailing, not only because a bunch of uninvited guests were living there, but also the building itself was of the lesser attractive kind. „Too much gold and mosaique,“ remembers Bruno Raymond with a shiver. „The architect must have been mad.“ „Fou fou“, says the Frenchman and this is exactly what the people in Ibiza thought of him, when ten years ago he bought his first house on the island. It was just like this one, run down and uninviting. Meanwhile, nobody believes he is mad, because all the houses Bruno has decided to buy have become architectural highlights in Ibiza. He loves the challenge, but he also seems to have a great visionary talent.
