Sophisticated family home in Kensington

This 19th century house is in one of London's most prestigious areas of Kensington. The owner and his wife are collectors of contemporary furniture art and sculpture set within neutrally decorated rooms. Modern but without hard-edged minimalism the owner has created a sophisticated family home that is both practical and glamorous. After studying at the New York school of Interior Design and the Inchbald Design School in London, he established his own design company, Kinari Design Ltd, in 2002. Kinari Design draws on both Asian and Western influences, they are as a result uncluttered, elegant and contemporary. They specialise in the interior architecture, design and decoration of luxury residential and boutique commercial properties.
