Eclectic Mix

West London flat with an eclectic mix of German heirlooms, modern design classics and some excellent art.

Heinrich Senft owns the London interiors and decorating business Habibi Interiors which specialises in Moroccan tiles and artefacts. He moved to London from his native Munich some 15 years ago, in the first instance to satisfy his strong anglophile leanings and study at Cambridge. Heinrich soon caught the property bug, an affliction particularly strong in the London of the 80s and 90s; over the years he has successfully developed a number of stunning places, his last sold to actress Sienna Miller. He had owned the property in which his current home is for a number of years as it was a snip at the time. Heinrich has the courage and the conviction to buy in unpopular and not-so-smart areas and is happy to take a punt that things will improve. His current home is on a busy and large road in a decidedly downmarket part of West London. He even has his own grocery store beneath the flat as he owns the building. Heinrich’s flat is a clever design of multiple levels and all rooms bar the drawing room face back out over the garden and are therefore a haven of peace which is difficult to believe when one first enters the property from the busy street. The furnishings are an eclectic mix of German heirlooms, modern design classics and some excellent art.
