Textile Collector

1690s Georgian redbrick townhouse with rare woven textiles

Esther Fitzgerald is London based textile dealer who exhibits at important fairs in the UK and the USA. She lives in part of a mid-1700's red-brick house in Hampstead, North London. A famous area for Georgian architecture and fine churches the area has always attracted writers, poets and artists. Esther likes white interiors and believes in letting the architecture make the statement. With stripped floors and unadorned windows this flat is light and bright and filled with glorious silk Lawons, old embroidery, a pre-columbian feather tabard and much more. She favours craftsmen made furniture of several periods and has a passion for Tibetan, indigo chequer-board rugs.
